We refurbished the original 1930s bar, floor and woodwork in the main room of this beloved establishment, and installed new vintage light fixtures. In the adjoining room, aka the Annex, we built a new bar of sapele wood, chosen for its durability, rich color, and sustainability compared to its endangered cousin mahogany. With its arched shelving and integrated peg letterboard drink menu, the bar was designed to look original to the space. We also restored the room’s flooring, refinished the existing millwork and installed a custom drink rail built into the existing window ledges. In addition to installing all the new light fixtures, our electrical crew made sure that Lil Clip had all the necessary power and circuitry to support its exceptionally good sound system.
